Step1: Getting your license
Pre-Licensing Couse
NIPR Registration
Once registered with the pre licensing course, Complete the State Life Insurance license application online at www.nipr.com
- Click on "Apply for License"
- Choose "New License", select your state from the dropdown, and select "Resident Licensing"
- Fill out application for an individual
(You will receive your NPN - National Producer Number - once you pass the state exam)
- Click on "Producer"
- Click "Life"
Fingerprints / background check
After registering with NIPR you’ll receive instructions to get your fingerprints taken Somewhere local to you.
State Exam
Now you’ve scored a 90% on all quizzes and passing score on the practice test on exam FX you are ready to take your exam.
To schedule your exam, follow these steps:
- Go to www.pearsonvue.com
- Click on "Schedule or Re-schedule an Exam.
